The deadline for submitting abstracts for published papers has now passed. The abstracts submitted are now under review by editorial team and selected abstracts will be invited to submit a manuscript to the special issue of Wear. Authors of accepted papers will be invited to give an oral presentation or at the author’s option, to present a poster related to that paper instead of an oral presentation. We will communicate abstract reviewing result to authors by July 15 2012. The deadline for selected authors to submit full paper to the journal is September 1, 2012.

Authors who wish to present their work as a poster only, without a published paper, have until January 15, 2013 to submit their abstracts.

If you do not receive acknowledgement for your abstract submission or you wish to make any essential revisions to an abstract already submitted, please DO NOT RESUBMIT your abstract, as this may lead to duplication. Please email Jen.wang@elsevier.com with details of any revisions or queries. Please quote your reference number if you have one.
